Ability to create chart for ideas created and shipped per month

What is the challenge? - It's not possible to create a single chart showing ideas created and ideas shipped per month

What is the impact? - We need to see if we are on track for shipping enough ideas each month compared with what's coming in. We have to view this as two separate reports which forces us to use a dashboard instead of a single report.

Describe your idea - Be able to create a single chart showing the total of ideas created in a month, and the total of ideas shipped. This might be more achievable using calculated columns if the shipped and created dates were available to be used in calculated columns.
