Option to sync layout between idea portal and idea record

What is the challenge?

Often when I am creating an ideas portal, I want the ideas form I set up in the portal to have the same fields show up automatically in the idea record. However, I currently need to also customize the idea record's layout in addition to the idea portal layout and add in all the same custom fields again.

What is the impact?

This is a very repetitive task that adds significant time and confusion to launching an ideas portal. I understand there are use cases where separate layouts with different fields are important, but odds are every time I add a field to my idea intake form, I want the same field added to my idea record's layout.

Describe your idea

Setting when configuring the idea portal layout to sync the layout with the idea record layout. Then I only need to customize the idea portal layout and all these fields will be automatically in place onm the idea record.
