Custom Prompts for Aha Draft with AI Writing Assistant

What is the challenge?

Aha Draft with AI Writing Assistant currently offers three preloaded options:

1. announcement

2. release notes

3. newsletter

However, this limited selection doesn't accommodate all of our needs. We would love the ability to create custom prompts that are preloaded for Product Managers to fill in.

What is the impact?

By addressing this challenge, we can:

1. Empower our product teams to create more concise descriptions of opportunities

2. Save valuable time in the executive summary creation process

3. Improve the overall quality and consistency of our Concept Briefs

4. Enhance communication between product teams and executives

Describe your idea

We propose adding a feature to Aha's Writing Assistant that allows users to create and save custom prompts with predefined parameters. Something to the effect of:

1. Custom Prompt Creator: Introduce a new section in Aha Draft where users can craft their own AI prompts.

2. Parameter Definition: Allow users to specify key parameters that the AI should address in its output (e.g., problem statement, proposed solution, market opportunity, etc.).

3. Template Saving: Enable users to save these custom prompts as templates for future use.

4. Quick Access: Add these options to the dropdown menu in the main Aha Draft interface where users can select from their saved custom prompts alongside the existing preloaded options.

5. Team Sharing: Implement a feature to share custom prompts within teams, promoting consistency across the organization.

By implementing this idea, it would help provide our product teams with a powerful tool to streamline their workflow, ensuring that executive summaries are consistently structured, comprehensive, and tailored to our specific needs. This enhancement will not only save time but also improve the quality of communication between product teams and executives, leading to more informed decision-making and better alignment on product strategies.
