What is the challenge? |
I am a PM and want to automate changing statuses once a feature and subsequent requirements are sent to Jira. This is a manual process now that I might forget after manually sending a record to Jira. |
What is the impact? |
This would allow for cleaner workflows and time savings. |
Describe your idea |
I want to be able to add an automation that automatically updates the status of a feature/requirement based on if the Integration box is not null). Example - I sent a feature/product requirement for eng to review in Jira. That status should automatically flip from "draft" to "submitted" upon sending it via the integration (because now it is ready for eng to take a look at it). |
I think that approach could work as well, though ideally it being bidirectional would probably be the best way to encompass all use cases!
Hi there, thank you for your idea. We have a popular idea here that is quite similar to this -- the ability to use automations to send a record to an integration. The use case there would be that once a record is moved to a particular status, it is automatically sent to Jira. Would this approach work for you? If so, then I'll merge the ideas so we can consolidate the votes. Thanks!
