Allow Aha contributors to turn private comments on from inside Aha by clicking a grayed out padlock turning it blue.
Usecase
Internal user (sales, support, etc) makes a portal comment about an idea that is better left for internal consumption.
Idea reviewer sees the comment was accidentally left public. Rather than deleting the comment if they could click on the padlock to make it private between the commenter and the back of the house that would solve the problem.
Control the visibility of portal comments
Now you can change the visibility of a portal comment to make sure the right people can see it. Choose to make the comment visible to everyone, your employees, or the idea creator.

Yes please, we used to have internal and external idea portals completely separated. Now that we are trying to merge these it would be incredibly helpful to us if we could change a comment's visibility setting for those cases where internal users reveal too much information.
This is critical to my team as comments are associated with the idea and externalized across all portals - customer or internal - and employees make mistakes about marking comments as private on a regular basis. Having to delete the comment or copy and paste it into an "internal comment" not only adds a lot of work to the PM's workflow, but prevents the employee that posted the comment from continuing the conversation they tried to start.
I would also take this one step further and allow the end users (portal users?) to switch their comment to private if they realize after they post it that it should be private. It seems an unnecessary restriction that I can't edit, delete, or mark my comment private after I post it if I realize after the fact that I forgot to check private, or accidentally put too much identifying information, etc.
This feature would be very helpful within my organization. We often have clients comment with private or sensitive information and we would like the ability to quickly change these comments to private.
