Merge duplicate ideas with AI
We get a lot of Ideas in our customer facing portal and many are duplicates. Our product managers are swamped responding to Ideas and rarely are able to remember previous Ideas or parse through them all to merge them together. It would be great if there was an AI function to identify duplicate Ideas and automatically merge them together.

This would be really interesting. We are also swamped with ideas, and our product managers point out that people don't look to see if the idea already exists before submitting a new Idea.
With so many ideas historically in the backlog, it makes a lot of sense to have an AI tool actually connect the dots, looking for duplicates and trends. Give us a prioritised top N of what's being asked for, ideally grouping distinct but related ideas.
Hi there, thank you for the idea. This is a great idea and I can definitely see the benefit in doing more here. I did want to mention in the meantime that there is a list of related ideas in the Related tab. This does not automatically merge as you suggested, but it can be helpful for a quick look to see if there are similar ideas existing. I hope this helps. Thanks!
