Suggest duplicate ideas Merged

What impact would it make?

It would make it much easier manage idea portals that have a larger number of ideas

How should it work?

It could either 1) show "duplicate idea" suggestions on the detail panel, 2) show potential duplicate ideas in the Overview section. Perhaps with a "quick merge" link so you don't have to open the dropdown, find the duplicate suggestion, etc.
