I would like the ability to create, assign and manage sprints within a release, and link features to the sprint. Currently, I set sprints up as Phases within a release to do this. The issues with this workaround are:
I cannot link a Phase from Aha! to a Sprint in Jira
I cannot move a Phase from one Release to another via drag & drop. So if I need to move a sprint to a different release, I have to delete the Phase from one release, re-create it as a phase under the new release, and then link features to this new Phase.
Thank you for this information! I'm still having a hard time making it work correctly in my Gantt chart though. Below is a grab of my Gantt where I created '2022 Sprint 3' as a Feature, then linked the below features to it. When I create a custom field in Features of 'Sprint' and link these three Features to Sprint = '2022 Sprint 3', it does not maintain the cascade effect in the Gantt chart. Is there a way to still visually display all Features under a Sprint if I use 'Sprint' custom field?
