We are looking to build one chart that can show multiple axis of data. Basically, We are needing a chart (preferably horizontal column chart) to show us actual vs expected days for particular products.
The way we capture the expected number of days is with a simple custom field that we enter that number. The actual number of days is calculated off of the start date with the formula of Today()- Field("field name"). This method does allow us to capture the information and produce two charts that show the difference. The preference would be to show the difference between the actual and expected on one chart. In other words we would like to show products as a "x" axis, let's say and then have the actual and expected shown as separate columns next to its respective product showing the difference in days.
Hi!
We have several examples, but a specific I just ran across today relates to two different records we are trying to report on: Ideas & Idea votes.
We are trying to show the relationship/activity comparison between ideas created in a month vs votes per month.
In this business case, we are able to emphasize what we are seeing as the portal engagement increases: the ratio of votes created vs new idea submission (that was a goal/hypothesis in launching these capabilities).
Right now, I am only able to create individual charts for each and put them next to each other in a dashboard. This is hard to visually showcase the difference because the data points/months are separated, but also because the scales of each chart are different (and I cannot edit/adjust them).
no-brainer for me. This should really be considered!
