Ability to template to-dos

To-dos assign work to other people (or with work requests, other workspaces), ranging from minor tasks to workflow approvals. To drive consistent workflows, it would be great to be able to create templates for to-dos, much like we can for initiatives, epics, features, and requirements.

Use cases:

  • I create a to-do for my VP to review my work. She needs to be able to see business impact, what's required of her, and maybe a background on the task at a glance.

  • Products in my workspace line need budgetary approval for each of their initiatives. We should submit the approval request to the finance team in the same way each time.

  • I need to request work from a design team in another country. We've never met, so I need to be very clear about the strategic impact, deadline, scope of work, and definition of done.

I also need this. It's a blocker for us collaborating with other teams (assigning work across product, marketing, and product marketing). No one wants to spend the time creating the same 15 tasks/to-dos for each record and it's forcing us into spreadsheets :/

Has anyone found a successful or creative workaround for accomplishing this?

Yes, this would be fantastic so that I don't have to copy and paste 10+ to-dos for each ticket we open.

Yes, I have had numerous requests for a way to assign a standard set of To Dos to a feature. Please create a way to apply a To Do template to places where To Dos can be created, especially features!

Such a great idea that will improve the workflow significantly, It will also be great to have it for requirements as well

I'm a bit disappointed that this feature is not here yet we used to have it in clickup

Great idea. Additional use cases for features include standard activities that need to routinely get assigned, like elaborate needs analysis or update help documentation.
