i have set the phases up with specific colours to help with identifying the different streams of work for a release; however, the 'view colours' options don't include custom colours, only 'status', 'assignee' and progress.

There should be a clear filter button on List reports of workspaces. Many times it is not apparent that a filter has been applied. There also could be change in color of the outline of the box or the box itself to show that a filter is on.
