I want to change the colours of releases which show in my roadmap timeline view.

By going to Settings -> Products -> Configure, you can select colors for each of your products.

This is especially important on the Portfolio view. Since colors can't be selected and they are auto-assigned, and reused it makes the Product Line roll-up unusable. It's basically just a bunch of random dots!
Agree the pink and the orange are so similar I can't discern the difference at a glance on my roadmap.
I'm all for this as I'm a huge advocate for corporate branding.
It would be great to have a colour picker on your product configuration.
