Sometimes, my audience needs a more visual representation of effort. It would be nice have a feature board view where the height of each feature's box represents the effort required for that feature. That way, it would be easier to appreciate the differences between various features by effort required.
I envision this as a third option on the card size selector.
As you may know, we currently show the effort level on the feature cards today on the Feature board. The estimates can also be shown and sorted through reports on the Features List or Report pages. From the Features List page, the information can also be exported via CSV.
At this time, we do not have plans to make updates in this area to dynamically set the height of feature cards based on community feedback, current priorities and the workarounds mentioned above, which can achieve the core goal of looking at estimates across all features. We hope you can understand.
I appreciate this, but it's a major miss. The value in Aha is to visually represent work. The estimates are not visually distinct enough. I have to create powerpoints to capture the visual dimension of effort, and if I have to do that anyway, I'm going to question the value of your platform for visually representing work. Size of effort is a vital element in prioritization and ignoring it is short-sighted.
Fair enough. Thanks for taking the time to update.
