Ability to copy / clone full Release including all features from example a 'template product' to a totally new product/product line

We have now setup a template Product which template releases and a subset of features for each release.  In the interest of time and so that our staff do not forget the basic features per release, we would like to be able to copy a full Release or multiple release (copy a full product would be even better) along with the supporting features - all of them - per release.  At the moment we need to create the release in the new product and copy feature by feature from the template product and then assign each feature one by one to the new release in the new product.  Very very time consuming.

It is very useful to be able to copy an entire release and all its features, but the initiative links don't get copied over. Trying to copy a release from Product A (with Features linked to Initiatives at the Product Line level) to Product B loses the linked initiatives. Any chance this can get fixed?

    Hi Andy,

Could you please create a support ticket if you have not already? Please include a screenshot of your Ideas workflow (see my screenshot here). Thanks.

Matt - thanks for the response.

Perhaps we need to open up a support ticket then. I read up on the alerts
via the link. We have a Private portal for employees/Partners and I am
admin on it. I have a number of staff that are on the portal as well.

In the following scenarios, no alerts are being generated to either the
Idea creator or the admin (me) or anyone that has voted on the idea:

    - I create an admin comment
    - I create a public comment

Let me know if you can help diagnose this for us.

    Andy

Hi Andy -- I noticed your question above to Suzanne. I'm on the Customer Success team and can answer your question. The email alert/notification that you received regarding this idea "shipping" is a standard Ideas alert that goes out when an idea is updated. Anyone that has become a subscriber to that idea -- which includes the idea submitter, people that voted on that idea, and people that commented on that idea -- will receive the notification. There are some subtle nuances that differ between Public, Private, and Submit only portals. This Support Article is your best source of information to understand those subtle nuances as well as to understand which status changes trigger the notification http://support.aha.io/hc/en-us/articles/202573439-How-Idea-management-notifications-work. Please reach out to us via Aha! Support if you have any questions or need assistance. Thanks!

Suzanne - Can you tell me how you generated this alert and/or if that is a
standard Ideas alert that goes out when an idea is updated? I've not seen
that for our ideas portal and was curious.

I'm very intrested in this features as well.  I'd like to be able to have a set of deliverables aka features to use each time i create a Release.

I see on the 29th of April you say it will be the next month or so, will this be ready to use next week?

On average we are wasting about 30mins-1hr per consultant on a daily basis having to copy feature by feature rather than being able to copy/clone a full release and all or selected features.  If this could be introduced SOON it would save us considerable time.

Might sound odd - but I want to be able to have essentially a template of features that are in fact GTM deliverables which will need to be updated for each release. As such a current workaround for GTM planning is to create a GTM release. I want t...
