We really like Asana for day-to-day development work and bug tracking.

If your organization uses Asana for project management, we have good news. You can now sync records in Aha! with tasks in Asana.
See what you can do with this new integration.
Hi Sam, I can definitely see the use case for a to-do mapping. The reason did not included originally was that a requirement -> sub-task mapping provides greater flexibility. E.g. custom fields, workflows, etc. I went ahead and created a new idea to capture this. That way we can continue to monitor customer feedback in this area. https://big.ideas.aha.io/ideas/APP-I-6333 Thanks!
Hi Austin, we actually consider the to-dos as the main thing we would use Asana integration for. We generally assign todos around specific features or releases today and would love to link the two systems together to make managing them easier.
Happy to talk more if you'd like.
Thank you for your feedback. It is currently possible to map Aha! requirements to Asana sub-tasks. For example, you could map Features to tasks and requirements to sub-tasks to accomplish the use case you mentioned. At this time we do not have plans to add to-dos to the integration.
This looks like a good start but while I can sync initiatives and features I can't seem to sync the sub tasks. Ideally I'd create a feature and then sync the task for marketing to write the release to Asana.
Is there any plan to include Aha! tasks into the integration?
We are definitely looking for this!
Where are we with this?
Hi there,
We would like to set more granular tasks for the team for each release - this functionality doesn't currently exist in Aha, and my team are currently all deployed on Asana. Is this going to be possible in the future?
Best,
Jordanna
Is there an update on Asana integration? It would be great to have Asana integration (agree with the many others!) I have used Aha.io and Asana in the past and am starting to use them again.
Is there any update on this?
We are considering becoming Aha! users but this is an important consideration.
Jira integration is amazing. But we hate jira. Would love to have the same level of polish in an integration with Asana.
Agreed, use both and would love to automatically keep them in sync, Asana Tasks for Aha Features, Asana Sub Tasks for Aha Requirements.
Using Asana for a while for startup activity coordination. Signed up for Aha and thinking about using both. Connecting both would seem great.
Guys, integration between Aha! and Asana will be amazing, please do it
quickly. Are you work on it actually ?
I'd like to see the ability to track asana tasks against features so that when a feature is shipped the task is completed. We track our customer implementations in asana and sometime they are dependent on a feature being developed or a bug getting fixed.
@ChrisWaters. Similar request for me. I'd like to sync tasks from Asana into Aha! - but is it possible for those tasks to be marked as features?
@chris, yes. I would assume To-Dos on features/requirements would get synced as well. I would not be looking for feature/requirements themselves to be synced.
I would assume:
(1) When a To-Do gets created in Aha for a user, it gets synced to their Asana account as a task with the appropriate due date.
(2) (a) When a synced To-Do is completed in Asana, it gets marked as complete in Aha
(b) When a synced To-Do is completed in Aha, it gets marked as complete in Asana
(3) Due date, title, and description stay in sync. Assignee as well.
Rob, can you expand on your use-case a bit more? Are Aha! to-dos that only data that you would like to sync with Asana? How about features or requirements?
Agreed, our broader team runs on Asana for task management, so it would be great to sync Aha To-Dos to Asana and keep them in sync.
Seconded. We have a similar situation brewing with our GTM process where half the org is on Asana for collateral creation. It would be great to sync up To Dos here or even as a subset of a release phase.
Asana it's amazing tool for day by day task management. We use for all our project. Will be great integrate with Aha! The goal should be use Aha! as main management tool and use Asana for daily tasks.
