Explicit *non*-goals

It's just as important to assert what you’re not working toward as it is to prioritize what you are. It would be helpful to have a place to track non-goals along with goals. “We're focusing on markets A, B, C” doesn’t clearly state “We’re not going after market D”. This is important for some goals, especially as you’re making a pivot. “We used to address market D, but we’re not going to in the future.”

Thank you for your idea. There are a couple ways you could capture this information now. One idea would be by adding a custom field to your goals layout where you could explicitly state what you will not be pursuing. If more detail is needed on the non-goals, you could also use a custom table to capture these.

Given the options above and current priorities, we are unlikely to implement this idea at this time. We hope you can understand.
