Tags are a powerful way to add addition metadata to existing entities. We’re using custom Tag fields to capture customers and user journeys. However, I’d like to be able to capture more than just the name. For example, clicking on the “Acme Corp.” tag in a Target Customer custom field would take me to a landing page for Acme Corp where I could add additional details. You could almost think of this as a generalization of how Personas work today.
Thank you for your idea. There are a couple ways you could handle this currently. First would be to leverage Aha! record relationships and utilize the personas to capture the target customer. An alternative solution would be to leverage custom tables (Enterprise+) as they are designed specifically for use cases such as this.
Given the options above, we are unlikely to implement this idea. We hope you can understand.
