Insert the Description as Default Text when creating a Strategic Model from a Template Merged

With workflow templates, you can set text for a feature template and requirement template that is auto-populated into the feature or requirement to standardize the content. This is great.

With strategic model templates, you can also specify default text in the description, but this text just serves as a tool tip until the user clicks in the field and starts to type. The default text then disappears. As we leverage tables and advanced formatting within our strategic model components, this isn't something that the user can readily re-create without a copy-paste exercise from the original tool tip (which disappears). It would be better if the default behavior was for the component description from the template to be inserted into the description for users as it is 100x easier and less effort for users to select and delete the parts they don't need than it is for them to source or remember the parts that they do need.

We work around this today by creating the template and then creating a strategic model 'template' from the template where we pre-populate the desired default text. We then train users to copy this 'template' instead of creating one from scratch so that the component description fields are already populated and they just need to be filled in by the user.
