Integrate with Invision

I’m not sure if Invision supports an API yet, but it would be an ideal integration for Aha. Right now, I think Aha does a great job of what I would call the front end of the funnel for product management: capturing ideas, managing a backlog, high level feature requirements…however the Interaction Design and Visual Design disciplines are core to software delivery nowadays. Invision has a great platform for versioning , reviewing, and collaborating on IxD and VD.

I could envision a future where I could link Invision projects with a feature and go all the way from a goal/initiative all the way down into the actual interactions being designed…all getting tracked in Aha.

There does not seem to be a way to link to Design artifacts that are:

    1) not files that you attach (or in Box, etc)

    2) that are not Mockups using Aha Mockups

    3) or links embedded into the desc. (or other) field

I'd like to have a standard way to link to design artifacts - in our case we use InVision (for now).

Even now we post an anonymous link to an Invision design into the content but it would be nice to have a Mockup but made with Invision.

Recently noticed the newer Invision/Jira integration, where Jira issues can be embedded in InVision Studio.  With Aha's close integration, and you guys not really intending (I think) to enter a space like Invision/Figma/XD, etc., this seems very logical as Invision has become a frontrunner with the Jira integration, and is now backed by Atlassian in their most recent fundraising.  What's more, and I assume as astute as Aha is, you guys may be on this, Invision has a strong draw.io integration, so there may be come ability to mock in Aha, and bring that into Invision and continue to build a solution for Product/Design/Dev that is as frictionless as possible.

Very eager to see what you guys will do here!

This is a big pain point for us too. Like others here, our PM use Aha, dev use jira and design use Invision. When designs are added as links, they can be missed. People sometimes screenshot designs and add them to Aha, but then the design changes and the wrong design can be picked up by development.

Jira allows Invision link to be added to the story; frontloading the Invision link in Aha would benefit communication on my team.

Glad to see it's moved to Future Consideration. The mockup tool is neat but does definitely not fill the need for a design process.

We originally tried using the custom URL field but often we have many screens in InVision for a feature (error states, zero states etc) and other nuances of the design. The single field only worked half the time, so instead I list each screen link manually into the description. See attached.

Hi Heather, this is not currently planned on our roadmap but we are continuing to monitor customer feedback. We have recently released Aha! Mockups to help you quickly create mockups directly within Aha!, but specific to Invision, we would suggest the solution that Melissa pointed out above of using a custom URL field in the meantime.

Any new progress towards this? It’s would be a huge for my team!

+1 for Invision prototype integration. Right now we're also managing this through a custom url field. Ok, but not ideal. To really make the integration powerful, I'd like to be able to sync the link with Jira. We're managing our design phase in Aha! and developer work is managed in Jira. Syncing the Invision prototype link would avoid the step of having to copy/paste it into the Jira/Invision add-on.

This would be huge for us - we currently use a custom field to put the URL for the wireframes to be accessed when reviewing the requirements, but would love a more seamless connection from the Invision screens to the features.

Or at least give me a way to link my Invision designs to features!

This would be ideal so I could easily link screens/prototypes to stories in Aha.

We're currently using an Invision/Slack integration, which is awesome! Having an Aha/Invision integration is a must have to prevent tasks from falling through the cracks. Thank you for your consideration!

Significant pain point for us, we need to be able to get UX into the planning bigger picture.

    +1 for Aha + InVision.

The InVision + Jira integration is decent, mostly an embed of a InVision board or prototype.

InVision's Workflows would be nice to integrate with Jira or Aha. We are evaluating Aha now, and currently looking for a platform that integrates UI/UX design (InVision) with Project Management tools (Jira, Aha).

I agree with the value of this integration. Right now we integrate Aha! with JIRA for our engineering team, and design is using InVision integration with JIRA. Would be great to pull the Invision integration upstream into Aha! instead so everything can flow nicely.

This is a significant pain point with us. Without mockup integration, many pieces fall through the cracks and it is easy for the end product to feel bolted together. Site lines on the workflows throughout the process are crucial and currently a pain to maintain.

This kind of integration is a must for agile product management, the best way to explain UI functionality is with interactive designs not with text or static images. Invision is integrated with Jira cloud already and many others. Please partner with Invision to move forward this, it is key to continue with your product. You have many other features that are nice to have compared to this one. Thanks

Lots of invasion integrations including Slack. Might be time to reconsider.
