I like being able to assign "To-Do" items to specific release phases so the team can focus only on what's immediately important, however sometimes I either accidentally add an item to the wrong release phase or need to move it to another phase after it's been created because of schedule changes. To-do's are pretty easy to create but it'd be nice if I could move them after they were created, particularly if I have to move several at one time. It would also create better transparency/communication to the task owners, rather than them seeing both a delete and a new task.
We can understand the desire for this functionality. However, based on the existing workaround, frequency of occurrence and community feedback, we are unlikely to make updates in this area. We hope you can understand.
We often have to do items that could be associated with different releases. Sometimes we decide to go ahead with a release without a particular capability, so the to do item needs to be pushed back to a different feature. Currently we either delete and recreate the to do which is a pain, or have to do something quirky with changing the release, or we just don't mark it as done when really it is released. So being able to move a to do to a different release would be really helpful for us.
