Provide ability to map Created by user to Reporter field in the JIRA integration

When sending or linking a Aha feature to a Jira Epic the system uses the name of the person who created the Jira integration record instead of the user who created the epic.  This results that all Jira issues now show up as Reported By with the name of the person who created the integration record.  Why can't Aha use the name/id of the Created By user instead?

We have launched an enhanced Jira integration. This integration will allow you to map the Aha! created by field to the reported by field in Jira, along with several other new capabilities including the ability to:

    • Set record mappings for Aha! initiatives, releases, master features, features, and requirements and link them to nearly any corresponding record type
    • Map default or custom fields in Aha! to any “like” field and specify which direction the updates should flow (e.g. from Aha! or from Jira)
    • Automatically send outgoing changes from Aha! or choose to review and approve them
    • Import records directly from Jira to make getting started in Aha! easy
Check out the blog post for more details.

Update. I figured this out. It was a missing Jira permission on the account
    we're using for integration.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Reported By is not available as a Jira field in our field mappings:

Could this be related to a Jira field configuration or a permission of the
account that we created the Jira integration with?

    thanks!

Hi there, from Integration settings > Mappings, you can expand the record mapping that you would like to map these fields for and add the individual field mapping (see screenshot attached.)

This article explains integration mapping in more detail. Thanks!

The blog post linked above doesn't actually show how to map "the Aha! created by field to the reported by field in Jira".

Can someone provide a link with instructions on how to do that?

    Thanks!
