The description is passed on to another system and cannot be left blank. It is desirable to make it mandatory at the source when the idea is created. That will avoid us going back and forth with the creators to get it added.

Engineering needs a some what detailed description. More times than not the idea name is the only thing engineering has to work off of to start. More is needed if sales wants to see their ideas accelerated through the feature promotion, prioritization, and engineering planning process. Description would be a minimum, and sample configs, pointers to CRD or SRD (if exists), performance and scale expectations. Memory requirements, and max/min ranges for idea are needed.
