It seems that the only way to get to the detail pane in Release View is to click on the milestone or slider. Double clicking the name should bring up the details pane.

  Thank you for the idea. The releases roadmap is designed to allow for quick editing of the release, phase, and milestone names by clicking on the name on the left. As noted, you can view the details by clicking the release bar. 

  Given the details above and other priorities, we are unlikely to implement this idea at this time. We hope you can understand.
