We have our company set up on the root-level in Aha with the product lines underneath this. For global visibility, we would like to give our marketing team the ability to add competitors to the very top company level, which then propagates down to all products in the hierarchy beneath it. Thus, they need a collaborator / product owner role on this top level, but this role by default then flows down into our complete product line, which isn't ideal.
Can we have these marketing users set up as needed on the top level, but limit their accessibility in the product line, specifically just restrict their roles to viewer, for example?
Thank you for the idea. Given the low volume of support for this idea, we do not have plans to make updates in this area at this time.
Removing the cascading of permissions, or granting the ability to overwrite the inheritance would be extremely beneficial. Colleagues working on strategy, for example, in upper hierarchy levels don't necessarily need contributor access to all underlying products.
