Update Original “Feature Created By” to Current Release owner
Whena new release is created, all the associated features are also included (by the original release creator ). However, when you re-assign the Release Owner drop down to another person, the “Feature Created By” is not automatically updated.
We would like to see an update to whenever a Release owner is changed, the Feature Created by should also be updated automatically. Additionally, the new owner should get any notifications when a feature for his/her release has been updated, etc.
Hi Andrew, thank you for the idea. Can you explain a bit more about what you are trying to accomplish using the "Created by" field? This field is really a historical reference of who actually created the feature and thus cannot be updated. You can reassign features using bulk edit if needed. I am going to mark this Unlikely to implement. Once we have a better understanding of what it is you are trying to accomplish we can adjust the idea and reconsider the status. Thanks!
