Add a checkmark to allow idea submitter to select if that idea should be open to the general audience or just to restricted teams, even internally to the company.
Thank you for the idea. Currently you can add a private portal and set the default idea visibility to only be visible to employees and partners. This would allow the product team to maintain control over which ideas are shared with a broader audience and which are kept internal.
Due to the available flexibility in this area now and other priorities, we are unlikely to implement this idea at this time.
Not having the option to submit ideas from a Private portal not to be visible to everyone, will require a diferente workflow to these ideas. This is another compelling situation to have this option.
Correcting my previous comment:
Ideas from a Private Portal would be visible only by AHA users and the submitter. This field would not be editable by nobody than the same submitter.
Let me rephrase... There are people that do not want their ideas being visible to other employees or partners. These people would have two options: 1) Contact an AHA user and register the idea directly in AHA. In this case the person will not have visibility of the idea from the Portal so he/she will not have a place to check the idea status, unless somebody send them notes. 2) Access a Submit Only portal. The same problem, no way to follow up the status of their ideas.
If in a Private portal we add the option to user select whether he/she wanted that Idea to be shared to other Employees and Partners would keep the functions of the Private Portal with the additional required Privacy.
At the end would be a flag to indicate: Only AHA users will see it.
