Ability to attach document after release is shipped/closed

We do post-launch evaluation after a product is released. I'd like to attach that analysis to the release. Once the status of a release is changed to "Deployed," it's Closed and I cannot attach documents.

    Thank you for the idea. The reason the release description is locked down after the release is shipped is to enforce or lock down what was done. There are a couple of options for addressing your need though. 

    1. You could unship the release, add the attachment, then ship it again. Next click Email watchers and select Don't send email.
    2. You could add a custom field to which you attach the release analysis. Custom fields are editable in shipped releases.
    3. You could add a comment to the release and attach the analysis there.
