Add a new drop list have Template/Layout - Create Layout Template to create a template of pre-existing Vision of Business Model layouts. To use existing template, use new drop list - Apply Template and a sublist is shown. All layout templates are contextual, i.e. you only see Vision templates within Vision and Business Model layout templates in Business model area. Any content that pre-exists in either Vision or Business Model would be persisted after applying template layout.
It is now possible to create your own strategic models and templates. Read more about it here: https://www.aha.io/support/roadmaps/strategic-roadmaps/strategy/strategic-models
Hi Ron,
Cool, this is great!
Regards,
Ben
This is an absolutely excellent implementation. Support for both standard and new templates all in one. Great job to all in the Aha team!
Trying to convince our very large organization that we need aha!. I will not receive two thumbs up for the initiative without the ability to set standard templates. One of the challenges we are trying to solve with aha! is to enforce standards. I can fake it through a pilot but if our organization will make the purchase for all of our product teams, we will need this feature.
Extremely useful for us as we use Lean Canvas on all products but do have programmes such as the Agile Centre of Excellence that uses a custom template. It would be ideal to just have a drop down to select.
When Implemented
Would love to see this put into practice. Right now we extensively use the BMC concept, however we have lightly changed the model to fit our business needs. In order to comply, each PM needs to remember the exact titles for each section in the BMC and where they fit visually. Needless to say, with a large portfolio there are many mismatches and mistakes being made by the PM's.
Having a template that we could provide to all PM's as a starting point (much like the Release template) would nearly eliminate all these errors and extra work.
Thanks in advance!
This option would really be extremely helpful to our product development team, since we use the same layouts for each of our products.
