Unlimited Votes per Idea (Employee based Ideas Portal) Merged

We are trying to use this exact ideas portal (the one I'm typing into now) for our feature request list. Instead of having customers request features and control voting, we would like our employees to have that power.  So when technical support staff is working with a customer and they mention a specific feature they would like to see in our software the tech can simply find the appropriate feature idea in our idea portal and add an additional vote onto it.  This would be our Employees voting on behalf of our customers.  They could talk to 20 clients a day, each with a vote for a specific feature request.

We feel like having a client facing feature request system is going to cause more problems than solutions, so we would like to keep the feature request list in house.

Unfortunately with the max voting limit of 10 votes per user per idea it would be troublesome to require our employees to make a new user everytime they get to 10 votes on an idea.  If we could have unlimited votes we could use this as an employee facing without having to worry about making new users or making duplicate ideas.

Thank you for reading this feature request about our feature request system so customers can give us feature requests. :-)  Have a great day.

+1 for proxy voting. We want to save our Support reps some time by letting them simply +1 an idea vs. having to type a whole new explanation. We're thinking comments on the idea can be used to add color or nuance for individual requests.

I merged this idea into another existing idea for the same concept, which we call "proxy voting". So that a vote is made on behalf of a customer and you could enter the customer name along with the vote. We support this currently through our Zendesk and Salesforce integrations, but do not expose it to Aha! users. We do plan to expose it in the future.
