Idea Portal: Filter should not be removed when I switch between Recent, Trending and Popular

Problem:
Whenever I switch between Recent, Trending and Popular I lose my selected focus (filter).

Solution:
Do not remove the selected filter until I click on the remove button ("X").

    This idea's status was out of date and has now been updated to 'shipped'. Now the filters set in the left menu do remain in place when switching between the sort tabs at the top of the page.

    I am finding this very frustrating as well.
