Would like the ability to reset passwords on behalf of a portal user

This would be helpful as we have just implemented an ideas portal and a lot of users have had trouble setting a password as the only method to create a password is using the Forgot Password link. It would be helpful as an administrator if i could reset their password on their behalf

Thank you for your idea. It is currently possible for an administrator to send a password reset email to a portal user. This can be done from Settings > Account > Configure portals. Select the portal and then click on the user's email address from the Portal users tab. Here you will see a button to send a password reset.

Given this capability and security concerns with allowing users to set passwords, we are unlikely to implement this idea. We hope you can understand.

Hi there. I was just able to confirm that password reset emails are being sent successfully. It could be that they are getting caught by your portal user's spam filter. This article provides details on how to improve email reception for emails sent from Aha!

If you have additional questions on this, please email support@aha.io and out Customer Success team can help out. Thanks!

Right now PW reset does not work when users do forgot pw. PW reset done by a admin for a user does not send new email to the user with pw reset instructions. Some thing seems to be broken
