Custom fields - condition field Merged

In a product hierarchy based on teams, it would be ideal if one could configure product portal to support various sets of custom fields and be able to display them based on the condition. This appears much easier than having to maintain multiple idea portals.

Example:
Design department requires different sets of fields to be displayed based on delivery type. 
E.g.:
banner design - banner sizes, delivery date, ..
website design - wireframes, brief...
