Filter Releases on the Feature Roadmap to create a dynamic, rolling roadmap view
I'd like to be able to use the Feature Roadmap and filter which releases are included, for example only releases scheduled to ship in the next 60 days. This would allow me to have a dynamic roadmap view of the next 2 months to provide to internal stakeholders. As it is, I'd have to go in and manually change which releases show on that saved view. We release every week, so I'd have to do this every week, ahh! The Pivot and Timeline views allow for this type of filter, but neither of those is good for showing feature details by release. Can you please add a Release filter to the Roadmap? For such a release-centric view, I'm surprised you can only filter Features.
Agree, In my siuation, I want to filter based on the assigned user to the feature. This works but the releases which don't meet the filtered criteria are present (with no features). I then have to remove the releases manually. This would obviously apply to any situation where a user is wanting to filter the Feature Roadmap based on and fields allocated to the feature itself.
Agreed! This functionality would be very helpful in communicating to stakeholders. The user should be able to pull up Features based on the criteria set forth in the filters, even if the Filters apply to a Release. (i.e. Show me a Feature Roadmap for all Releases that are 'Cancelled'.
