apply default view for lists when product switching

When switching between products while viewing a list (ex: Ideas List, Features List, Reports List), the filter i.e. view does not change.  Currently, I need to either change the filter to scope the correct product, or a faster method, select Default View from the Saved Views dropdown menu.  The latter has the effect of filtering the list based on the Product Line/Product dropdown menu selection.  A much more streamlined and intuitive experience would be for the list to 'reset' to the Default View each time a new Product Line/Product selection is  made with that drowdown.
