When creating releases, I can add existing Features under the Development release phase and these appear indented in the display.
I would like the ability to create indented sub-phases under other release phases so that I can clearly display the units of work and scheduled activity under the other phases of the release plan.
Thank you for the request. Many of our customers use To-do's within release phases to specify additional work which needs to be done across teams. Note that it's also possible to add non-development related features to display work across other release phases.
At this time, with these workarounds and current priorities, we don't have plans for updates in this area. However, we hope that this can help to achieve the same goal. We hope you can understand.
The problem with using to-dos is they don't show up on the Gantt view. We want to be able to see sub-phases on the view w/o having to click into each release or phase to see the sub-work.
I have been an Aha user for a long time. We are now trying to consolidate tools and stop using SmartSheet and other things to manage our release process. Without this feature, it's prohibitive to our organization. I cannot roll up the release reports to something that can be shared simply across teams. In an ideal state, the "contains" other phases would cause them to be indented much like when you associate features to a phase. i would also like the progress to roll up from child phases. this is very important to our organization
