Google analytics hook up in ideas portals

Please allow the option to allow google analytics hook up to track customer usage in the idea portal

    This feature was previously shipped, but with the introduction of GDPR in May 2018 we had to remove the feature again to ensure that we are in compliance with Google's terms of service.

    You can use the custom Javascript capability to add Google Analytics - but you would need to ensure that you are in compliance with Google's terms of service and GDPR.

    Is it possible to be more specific about what the GDPR and Google terms of service issues would be?

    Hi, 

    So on this thread, do I paste the analytics head tag information into the custom javascript box on the ideas portal set up?

    This feature is defined as "Shipped", but I can find no documentation of how Google Analytics can be used to track use of Idea Portal.
