Notebook access for Ideas Portal users

We have users that are Ideas Portal users but that do not have logins to Aha. We would like to publish notebooks that the ideas portal users may see and review. We do not really want to open the notebooks to anyone that can access the URL. And, we really don't want to assign a special pw to the notebooks. Having an ideas portal login is enough security to make sure only those registered can access the url. This would be useful as we then do not need to provide view access into our applications in the Roadmapping solution and can selectively share what we want the customers to consume. We shared at our global user group conference in April, 2016, that we are using Aha for Roadmap development and that we would be sharing the roadmap notebooks with the users. Thus far however we have not been able to do so without publishing a pdf and distributing through other means OR by opening our notebooks to anyone on the internet.

Thank you for the note. As you described, we currently offer many different ways to share roadmaps with external customers or stakeholders (including PDFs, web pages, URLs and passwords).

Another potential option would be to invite portal users as viewers in Aha! so that they can access this information. If you have an internal intranet, you could embed your notebook into another web page which specific users have access to.

Enterprise+ customers also have the ability to limit access by IP address, which could also be a potential option.

Based on the existing functionality and options available (combined with community feedback), we don't currently have plans for additional updates in this area. We hope one of the options above can help.

This is also a requirement for us so that there is one place for our idea portal requestors to go to submit ideas and view roadmap

Sorry the view only role provides more information than we are prepared to share. This means we need multiple methods for communicating with our users which we would prefer to avoid.
