Remember an Ideas portal user's login so they don't login each time

We want to present the Ideas Portal as a link within our product. These are retail stores in our case often with a single email and login per store (shared across all retail staff). However the logging into the Ideas Portal requires the user to login each time and the login cookie is only stored for the browser session.

Can you add a 'keep me logged in' option to the Ideas portal login that persists longer than a browser session?

This idea is from a while ago. Since then, most browsers auto-fill your username and password. Additionally, some security-conscious customers prefer that the portal not remember your username. Due to these reasons and the small number of votes on the idea, we do not currently have plans to add this capability to our roadmap.

Crazy, this is such a fundamental capability of so many web sites and really lets your product down. Might have to use Jira instead.

Hi Chris, We have thousands of independent clients that use various providers so we're now looking how we could fudge the SSO provider to hack an identity in. Otherwise it becomes a large adoption and change issue for us if we have to get each client and user to sign into a SSO portal they've never used (and for one thing only).

If you want to use an idea portal within your own product I recommend using the JWT single sign-on option. It is specifically designed to allow authentication from another product. This saves the user from needing to log in at all if they have already authenticated to your application.
