Ideas Lists - visibility on notebooks

I like the idea lists and the ability to turn these into notebooks. I can then share these easily with customers. However when I build the notebook from the ideas list, it don't want it to show on the notebook, the ideas that are marked as 'not visible in portal'.

Why do I need this? Some of our users are struggling with getting on line and voting, so I would like to easily share with them a summary list for review of top items, but obviously exclude the ideas that are for internal view only.

That should do it. I just double checked and it work correctly for me. I suspect the problem is to do with how you are saving the view, but it is not clear what the problem could be. Can you send a screenshot to support@aha.io?

Yes I tried this, but when I select just the ‘visible’ ideas and save the list and add to a notebook, it still copies all ideas – visible/not - into the notebook, What am I doing wrong?

You can do this now. When you make your list of ideas, add a filter to the list (using the green funnel icon) for the "Idea visibility" field. Then you can choose the idea visibility you want to include.
