We use Signavio for workflow and process diagramming. As part of their platform, they offer the ability to grab some HTML for a diagram that's been created and drop it into a Wiki, thereby offering a "live" include of a diagram image that will update whenever changes are made to the source doc. This would be very valuable (and slick) for our purposes.
Thank you for the idea. We currently do not have plans to update this area as it does not align with our current strategy or recent customer requests. However, it is currently possible to embed a collaborative whiteboard to create a diagram within a note or description field. We hope this helps to embed diagrams to your documents!
Thanks Ron! Looking forward to the outcome . . . please let me know if you want any further feedback.
Supporting embedding iframes is something that can potentially be done, and would achieve the same goal that you have in mind.
The specific request that you had noted is not possible due to security reasons. If it were possible to insert Javascript into any field, it could then be possible perform actions or stealing credentials across users.
We've changed your idea slightly to reflect an idea around embedding iframes
