Sort Initiative Roadmap by Product or Color

The primary sort for the initiatives on the roadmap is by start date. There is no available configuration for the secondary sort, it is hard coded to be alphabetical. I would like to show a different secondary sort (ie by product to show product line hierarchy, or by color if I have aligned my colors to products).

Release time frame 6 months

Now you can customize the order of initiatives on the strategy roadmap. Just drag and drop initiatives into the order you need. Check out the blog post for more details.

This is much needed indeed : both sorting by product, and clustering/grouping to get a better understanding of the roadmap

Is this planned for 6 months from now, or was it planned for six months from Nov 2015?

I share the view of other comments. Any identified workarounds?

This is key to moving to A-ha for all roadmap planning instead of excel.

We need to be able to sort by multiple variants depending on what we're trying to convey... for example, sort by:

    (a) Product then Priority - when discussing prioritization within a product's initiatives

    (b) Priority across all product initiatives - when discussing prioritization across all products (constrained resourcing)

Because we're unable to sort in this view, it required us to export the information out of Aha and work in a Google doc.

This is very frustrating.  I'd like to be able to sort by Product and Time so that Initiatives for a given product are clustered and are in order of time.  Ideally, you should also allow for manual re-ordering when there are times that some initiatives are related and could be grouped.
