Display Holidays in the GANTT chart

It would be really useful to show the holidays in the GANTT chart, also with the possibility for the users to add custom days-off!
I just realised that I was assigning tasks during Christmas Day....ooops.

I understand it may be tricky to add all the national holidays for different countries, and working with remote developers this may be even more complex... but giving the user the ability to custom add holidays in the calendar would be really useful!
Thanks!

How can a feature like this be unlikely to implement but other ideas with only 1,2 or 3 votes are in Status "Planning to implement". Can this idea be reevaluated as it provides much better transparency on a release plan for teams! Having to add public holidays as milestones is just cumbersome.

This is a super helpful feature for our teams! We would highly appreciate it if such a functionally would be implemented. Just like seeing the weekends, it would be super helpful to improve product planning when knowing which public holidays take place when. In case more information is needed, feel free to reach out :).

In addition to holidays, we also have a Make-a-thon week that stops all regular Engineering 2 times a year.

Ability to import overlays (e.g public holidays) in to the Gantt days as faint vertical bars

We would like to show public holidays and office closures on the Releases Gantt chart as a faint vertical bar similar to that shown in MS Project (screenshot). Ideally this would be implemented as a call to a remote REST API which returns iCal for...
