Global or inherited personas
The new business model and persona builder interface is great, but one of the reasons for specifying personas is that they are commonly shared between products.
It would be great if personas could be inherited by child products in a product hierarchy, or indeed by all products in a give Aha! account. In this way a persona would only need to be specified once and used for all products thereafter.
Agree that the Admin's comment doesn't satisfactorily address the original post. Furthermore, we'd like to see the same kind of inheritance for Competitors, which aren't available as a custom field. That means for our need the workaround Chris suggested isn't available, but Warren's solution could easily apply for Competitors as well as Personas.
I would also like to see this. The personas I made span multiple products, yet are only reflected under one product when I view its strategy. The feature Warren is requesting does not yet exist, despite this tag.
Yes or the ability to "import" a persona from anywhere in the product line hierarchy into a particular product's Strategy on the Personas tab.
I would like this too. And a similar idea is the opposite, and have product-line data aggregate up into the business-line level (personas, competitors, etc).

This does not already exist. What Warren is asking for is for the personas to be inherited in the product's Vision/Persona's page, which I also would like to see.
Yes, but it would also be useful if those product line personas were visible in a child product's Vision.
One of the key ways that you can now use Personas in Aha! is via a persona custom field. If you add a persona custom field to your features (or ideas or releases) then you can associate personas from any products in the product hierarchy, including from your product lines. So defining personas at the product line level will give you exactly that type of inheritance.
