In Gantt view add an owner in each task in the Gantt chart

Today the Gantt chart view is very basic as you do not know who is the owner of the line items in Gantt chart view. Also the ability to add "to-do" in the gantt chart tasks.

I'm a product marketer in Aha and it's terribly difficult to manage the commercialization activities of one of my products. I've duct-taped together a workspace that includes a list of release phases (that are pragmatic marketing activities) that each have activities. Each of those activities has multiple to-do's. Can you please tell me how to show those activity to-do's in the Gantt view under Plans?

This would be a big help to us!

Adding to-dos on the Gant chart (nested under each phase)

Hi Tamer -- I think what you're asking for is an owner for a phase, milestone or a to-do. Can you clarify? A mocked up screenshot would be great. We don't have access to your account so can't see exactly what you mean. Thank you!

Chris, this does not work for how we are using Aha. Can you please look at this more.

We are setup were only the Product team uses Aha. The Gantt chart view could be amazing if you give us the ability to add task in gantt chart that are non-features with owners assigned to them. For example if I have a new releases I want to add a line in the gantt chart for "Training CS" and assign that to person X. Training CS is not a feature as you can see. Another example is, if we are working on new project I might want to check with legal on the content we will use. So I want to add a line for "legal check" in the gantt chart. I hope you get how we want to use it. Can you please re-open this and really look at how Aha can build this function.

Features shown in the Gantt chart show the assigned user. You can show or hide the assignee using the "View" menu above the chart.
