Convert a feature to an Initiative
we frequently see the need to uplevel a story with many requirements to an initiative level with many stories. Having this functionality would allow us to do this easily
This usually happens when we start to groom a feature and realize it should be an Initiative.

The status of this idea was out of date. Since this idea was submitted we have added the ability to convert features to initiatives. This can be done through the More options icon on a feature by choosing "Convert to initiative."

Promote ideas to features
Once ready to promote, simply click on the green Promote button and choose the Promote to Feature option. You can choose to promote to any product for which you have rights and any release or parking lot within that product. When you promote an idea to a feature, a feature is created and a link is established between the idea and the feature. This ensures that a feature's origin and idea vote count are always accessible and that the users who submit and subscribe to ideas are automatically notified when an idea is implemented as a shipped feature.

Once ready to promote, simply click on the green Promote button and choose the Promote to Initiative option. You can choose to promote to any product for which you have rights. When you promote an idea to an initiative, an initiative is created and a link is established between the idea and the initiative. This ensures that an initiative's origin and idea vote count are always accessible and that the users who submit and subscribe to ideas are automatically notified when an idea is delivered as a shipped initiative.
