Represent feature links in the feature board
In some cases we get bug reports from many sources that all relate to a single bug. We use the "Is Contained By" link to link features. To ensure that the release note is accurate and that all facets of the bug are tested we add all "linked" features for the same bug to a release. Would be good to show them "stacked" on the features board to show that there are multiple items that are all related to one piece of work.
Using Linked features and the "is contained by" option in particular is an excellent way to show how features may be connected.
We've recently made updates in our reporting engine which allows you to report on these relationships for your features. You can now add a "Related features" column which can help to visualize the key feature relationships within and across release.
It could be useful to create and save a "Related features" view and share this with your team so that they can refer to it when creating Release Notes.
At this point, we do not have plans to make changes specific to the Feature Board but hope that these Report updates can help your team to achieve the same goal.
