Use OPML for creating notes
I often start my brainstorming in OmniOutliner until I'm able to flesh out an idea to the point where it's clear enough to share with others. I do not want to do this broad strokes drafting within Aha, but I want to be able to easily move my outline into notes within Aha while preserving the outline formatting. It doesn't need to be perfectly accurate, but keeping basic bullet indents. In this way, it's easy to get ideas into Aha so they are immediately presentable.
Based on your description, it sounds like that you are hesitant to use Aha! for brainstorming because the ideas aren't yet clear enough to share with others.
One workaround would be to create a Product that only you have access to. From here, you can create your own notes, and then Move the note to another product when you are ready (to save time). We've attached a screenshot of this action below.
At this time, we are unlikely to make changes which are specific to OPML, but we hope that the mentioned workaround will work for you (and allow you to keep everything within Aha!)
