With the 'Notes' tab, have colour formatting option on text


With the formatting of notes, could we have colour formatting possible so that critical items or lines of text can stand out especially when displayed in the Notebook eg: budget overruns, critical issues etc.

    Hi Nathaniel,

    I see that you have changed the status of this idea and the merged idea (APP-I-1437) to “Shipped”, but I still do not seem to be able to change the color of text. Can you help me understand the new functionality?

    We are using Notes and Note Fields to expand the information we collect.   Having colour would help emphasise and make reading aspects of the content easier.   

    for example we are sharing an overview dashboard of a project.  One column contains a RAG status (Red, Amber and Green).  Colour makes is quick and easy to read.

    We send weekly reports and the status is colorized with green/yellow/red. I want to utilize Aha notebooks for this so we don't copy/paste the existing goals and initiatives we report on, but without colorizing this makes the reports less readable. Is there any update on this when you can implement it? Even if it is not available in the toolbox, copy/paste rich text from say Word doc would be good enough.

    Hi - just wondering if there is any progress on this one and introducing colour in 'Notes'.  This would help dramatically for Traffic light reporting

    I would really appreciate a facility to add text in colour, it would assist when using the notepad to convey market messaging via a notebook and fit in with our general branding guidelines.

    It is now possible to duplicate/copy notes. Colorizing text is still planned.

    Hi - I have now had our clients ask if we can have colour/copy in the notes section of Aha as they are wanting to use this for their status reporting and the traffic light concept of Green, Amber, Red to show a status would be great with colour.

Text box editor to allow the use of color

Colour formatting in HTML Editor (Notes pages)

Currently you cannot add colour to text, tables etc. in the formatting toolbar. This would be especially useful on the Notes pages which can be text heavy to help emphasise a point and/or generally make the content more attractive.
