What is the challenge? |
Companies that use both Jira and Aha! ideas must go through extra steps to send information between the two systems. For example, if a small fix comes in as an Aha! idea, it must first be promoted to a feature or requirement before it is sent to Jira to be worked on. Often PMs teams would prefer to not track these as features in Aha! roadmaps. |
What is the impact? |
Saves time for both Aha! user and Jira users. Helps teams work together across systems and stay up-to-date on work. |
Describe your idea |
The Jira integration should support mapping to ideas records like it does features. |
You can now send small ideas directly to Jira without promoting them to features first — so engineering can jump on bugs and quick fixes.
I have been waiting for the Ideas integration to Jira for some time. It is a bit disheartening that Ideas Advanced is required to utilize this functionality.
I love it when I'm in a meeting with people asking for something and then I get an email from Aha! that it's now a thing. Thanks, all.
Exactly what the previous commenter said. Please add in a JIRA integration.
A 100% agree with this one. We only use the Ideas functionality and have to manually create JIRAs if we want to consider the idea further. It's a complete pain
Another vote for this idea. My team also uses idea issue type in Jira and would love to sync it to AHA ideas instead of promoting in AHA.
This functionality would be incredibly helpful for our team. It would be great to be able to sync Ideas to Jira without needing the middle step of promoting the Idea to a Feature. Please implement this!
