Enable/disable row/column calculations independently in pivot tables Merged

Option to have column or row data as totals.  Current design always shows both which can cause issues when you do not want a row total.

    Absolutely agree! this would add a lot of value. Often times we give up on the totals even when we really need to show them because we don't have space to show both, especially when being used in dashboard. Plus we're losing a bit of trust with our users when we say "this is how it works" because it's looks silly.

    In addition, would really appreciate the ability to have % of total as an option in how to summarize the columns or rows.

    Yes! Please make this happen. I normally want to hide the row totals or the column totals. Rarely do i want to show both!

I have Pivot tables that need totals. However, 99% of the time, the Total only makes sense for either the columns or the rows. Having to include both shows a row or column that is irrelevant
